5th December 2025 at 10:55 pm in reply to: Subject: Best Practices for Exporting Adobe InDesign Layouts to PDF for Print — Any Tips Beyond CorelDraw? #27619
Vikram Sharma
ParticipantTried following that CorelDraw workflow exactly as in the article, but the colors ended up way off when printed. Even after converting to CMYK and embedding fonts, the output was dull and not at all what I saw on screen. Really frustrating—feels like CorelDraw just doesn’t handle color profiles well for certain printers.
4th December 2025 at 7:30 am in reply to: How to create a flower frame in CorelDraw: Tutorial in Hindi #27439Vikram Sharma
29th November 2025 at 1:15 am in reply to: InDesign CC 2023: Text frame stubbornly refuses to autoflow #27152Vikram Sharma
ParticipantJust to clarify, when autoflowing a long article using the Place command in InDesign CC 2023, make sure you hold down Shift while clicking to autoflow the text into new pages automatically. If you simply click without Shift, it will only place text in the selected frame without creating new ones. Also, double-check that your text frames are set to allow overset text so you don’t lose any content.

Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj Make sure you’re using the correct installer version that matches your operating system and that your system meets CorelDRAW’s minimum requirements. Sometimes the installation can fail if antivirus software blocks the setup, so try disabling it temporarily during installation. Also, running the installer as an administrator often helps avoid permission issues.
28th November 2025 at 12:54 pm in reply to: How to Fix Text Overlay Issues in Game HUDs Using Gradient Effects? #27118Vikram Sharma
ParticipantTried doing something similar with overlaying text elements on the HUD, but whenever I attempted it, the text just wouldn’t update dynamically — it stayed static no matter what. I suspect the game engine locks those elements down or refreshes them in a way that external mods can’t hook into properly. Spent hours adjusting scripts and even different mod loaders, but no luck getting live updates on the overlays. If you figure out a workaround, definitely let me know.
27th November 2025 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Creating School Identity Card on 12X18 Sheet of paer using print merge command #27038Vikram Sharma
ParticipantPrint merge karte waqt ensure karein ki aapka data source (jaise Excel file) bilkul sahi format mein ho aur har column ka naam precisely match karta ho aapke template mein. Video mein jo steps diye hain, usmein kabhi-kabhi font size aur alignment ke issues aate hain, jo identity card ko professional nahi banate. Agar aap Microsoft Word ka use kar rahe hain, to “Mailings” tab mein “Finish & Merge” ka option select karte waqt preview kar lena chahiye, taaki har card par sahi data aaye aur koi duplicate ya missing field na ho. Agar aapko koi specific error mil raha hai, to uska message bhi share karein, taaki exact solution diya ja sake.
27th November 2025 at 5:04 am in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 4 in Hindi : Creating Facing Pages using Allow document pages/spreads to Shuffle #26992Vikram Sharma
Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj The “Allow Document Page Shuffle” setting in InDesign controls whether pages in a spread can move independently or must stay together as facing pages. When this is unchecked, you can create custom spreads with more control, which is useful for complex layouts like brochures. Just keep in mind that changing this setting after adding pages can cause unexpected rearrangements, so it’s best to set your document structure early in the design process.

Participant@Anita Khanna I had the same issue with the update hanging at 45%. What worked for me was forcing a restart, then running the Windows Update Troubleshooter from the settings. After that, the update resumed and completed without getting stuck again. You might want to give that a shot before trying more drastic measures.

25th November 2025 at 11:03 am in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 34 in Hindi : Introduction to GREP in Find and Change Menu – Hindi Video #26859Vikram Sharma
ParticipantI tried using GREP in the Find/Change menu to replace phone numbers in my document, and it worked pretty well once I got the pattern right. I used d{3}-d{3}-d{4} to find the numbers formatted like 123-456-7890, and it found all instances at once, which saved me a lot of time. Still figuring out more complex patterns, but this feature is definitely powerful for text cleanup in InDesign.
24th November 2025 at 12:55 pm in reply to: Photoshop keeps crashing when I try to open large PSD files, any fixes? #26793Vikram Sharma
ParticipantI had the exact same problem with large PSDs causing crashes in Photoshop. What seemed to help for me was increasing the allocated RAM in the preferences under Performance. I bumped it up to around 80% of my total memory, and the crashes reduced significantly when opening those big files. It’s not a perfect fix, but might be worth trying if you haven’t already.
23rd November 2025 at 9:26 am in reply to: Title: Issues Exporting Logo Designs from Adobe Illustrator to SVG Format #26648Vikram Sharma
ParticipantHi! It’s a common challenge to get complex Illustrator designs, especially those with gradients and transparency, to export cleanly as SVGs since SVG supports a somewhat different feature set than Illustrator’s native format. One thing to keep in mind is that certain effects like complex transparencies and gradients may not translate perfectly because SVG handles them differently or may rasterize parts of the design during export. To improve results, try simplifying the gradients or using SVG-compatible gradient types, and avoid transparency effects that rely heavily on Illustrator-specific blending modes.
When exporting, choose the SVG profile “SVG 1.1” or “SVG Tiny 1.2” depending on your target platform and make sure to uncheck options that flatten transparency or convert text to outlines unless necessary, as these can alter your artwork. Also, the “responsive” option often changes the SVG viewbox behavior, which can affect how it renders on different screens, so test with it both on and off to see which works best for your use case. Opening the SVG in different browsers or editors can also highlight how each interprets the file, so you might find it helpful to optimize your file for the platform you prioritize most.
If you continue to see pixelation or shape distortion, consider exporting your logo as a high-resolution PNG specifically for certain web uses, while keeping the SVG for scalable, simpler versions. Additionally, some designers use third-party SVG optimization tools or scripts after export to clean up and fix inconsistencies in the code. Overall, it often takes a bit of trial and error to balance Illustrator’s rich features with SVG’s limitations, but refining gradient styles and export settings usually leads to more reliable results. Hope this helps!
