How to Livestream to Facebook, YouTube & Instagram at the Same Time Using OBS Studio (2025 Guide)

If you’re a content creator, live streamer, or digital marketer looking to broadcast your content across multiple platforms simultaneously—like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram—this guide is for you. While OBS Studio has long been a favorite for live streaming, multi-streaming (i.e., streaming to multiple platforms at once) used to require complicated plugin setups like the Multi-RTMP plugin.

Fortunately, a new plugin called Aitum Multistream now makes the process much easier, especially for OBS Studio version 30.2 and above. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to install, configure, and use the Aitum Multistream plugin to livestream to multiple platforms with minimal effort.

Step-by-Step Guide to Multi-Streaming Using OBS Studio

  3. For each platform, obtain the Stream Key:
  4. Paste the stream key into the corresponding field in the Aitum Multistream panel.
  5. Choose your platform’s server if required.

Step 6: Advanced Output Settings

Click on the Advanced Settings button for each stream output to customize:

  • Video Encoder: Choose based on your graphics card (e.g., NVENC H.264 for NVIDIA GPUs).
  • Frame Rate: 30 or 60 FPS.
  • Bitrate: Recommended 2500–6000 Kbps based on platform and internet speed.
  • Audio Encoder: Typically AAC.
  • Rate Control: Use CBR (Constant Bit Rate).
  • Downscale Filter: Optional, usually left at default.

Repeat these settings for each added output.

Step 7: Start Streaming

Once all settings are configured:
