    Same thing happened to me with the latest cumulative update on my Windows 11 machine. It got stuck at 45% for hours, so I eventually forced a reboot. After that, the update kept trying and failing repeatedly. I ended up having to run the Windows Update troubleshooter and even reset the update components via command prompt before it finally went through. Really frustrating bug!

    Make sure that when you add the macro to CorelDRAW’s Macro Manager, you’re loading it under the correct workspace and that macros are enabled in your security settings. Sometimes macros created for older versions might not work perfectly in newer CorelDRAW releases, so check version compatibility. Also, if your CSS or TXT files have special characters, ensure they are saved in UTF-8 encoding to prevent any issues generating the QR codes.

    in reply to: How can I improve my aiming accuracy in fast-paced FPS games? #27302

    Missing shots in fast-paced shooters often comes down to sensitivity settings rather than just practice. Make sure your mouse or controller sensitivity is low enough to allow precise movements but not so low that you can’t react quickly. Also, don’t overlook the value of training your muscle memory through consistent routines rather than just random aiming—try aim trainers that simulate in-game scenarios specifically.

    I’m not sure, but maybe the issue is related to a version mismatch or some wrong configuration in your settings? Sometimes updating or reinstalling the software helps, but without more details, it’s hard to say for sure. Could it be something with dependencies or permissions?

    @Priya Das The update to Windows 11 version 22H2 has introduced some compatibility issues with certain games, including Cyberpunk 2077. Reinstalling the game alone might not fix the crash because it could be related to outdated graphics drivers or missing DirectX components after the upgrade. Make sure your GPU drivers are fully up to date from the manufacturer’s site and try running the game as an administrator. Also, check if any overlay software (like Discord or Steam overlays) are causing conflicts by disabling them temporarily.

    Just to clarify, when aligning shapes and objects in CorelDraw, make sure you’re using the Align and Distribute docker (usually found under Window > Dockers > Align and Distribute) rather than relying solely on the toolbar icons. It offers more precise control, like aligning to page, to selected objects, or to guidelines, which can make your workflow smoother especially for complex layouts. If you’re working in newer versions of CorelDraw, some menu names might differ slightly, so double-check your version’s documentation.

    in reply to: Photoshop CC 2023 Brush Lag on Wacom Tablet #27154

    @Priya Rao The brush lag you’re describing with Photoshop CC 2023 and Wacom Intuos Pro on Windows 11 might be related to the Windows Ink settings rather than the Photoshop version itself. Try disabling Windows Ink in the Wacom tablet properties and see if that reduces the lag; some users report better performance that way. Also, make sure your tablet drivers are fully updated, as older drivers can cause input lag issues despite having the latest Photoshop.

    @Rakesh Bhardwaj When multiple versions of CorelDRAW are installed, it’s common for thumbnail previews of CDR files to stop working properly in Windows Explorer because different versions handle file associations and shell extensions differently. One way to fix this is to set the default program for .cdr files to the version you use most often, then rebuild the icon cache or restart Windows Explorer. There are also third-party utilities that can restore thumbnail preview support for older CorelDRAW versions if needed.

    I had a similar Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2060 setup, and my games started stuttering a lot recently. Tried updating drivers, tweaking power settings, even reinstalling Windows, but nothing helped. Eventually realized my CPU was overheating because the cooler wasn’t seated right, once I fixed that, performance improved noticeably. Maybe check your temps?

    @Kiran Singh If the red plus sign isn’t showing up when your text overflows, double-check that your text frame isn’t set to ignore overset text in the preferences. Also, sometimes the indicator won’t show if the frame is part of a master page or if the frame is locked or on a locked layer. Make sure none of these conditions apply before digging deeper.

    @Priya Das Just updated to Windows 11 22H2 as well and noticed the same crashes with Cyberpunk 2077. What worked for me was running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 10 and disabling fullscreen optimizations. After that, it launched and stayed stable for several hours of gameplay. Might be worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet.

    @Rakesh Bhardwaj Just a quick note: the feature is called “Print Merge,” not “Print Merg e” as you mentioned. Also, make sure you’re using CorelDraw X7 or later for the best compatibility with Print Merge, as earlier versions might lack some useful options for merging data into your card layouts.

    CorelDRAW doesn’t have a built-in setting to directly increase the number of recently used fonts shown in the dropdown. However, a workaround is to keep your frequently used fonts installed and organize them in the font manager or style sets, which makes access faster. Also, updating to the latest version can sometimes improve UI elements like font lists. If you really need quick access, consider creating custom text styles with your preferred fonts so you can apply them without scrolling through the entire list.

    Tried the method shown in the video on InDesign CC 2021, but the background shape doesn’t stay anchored behind the paragraph when I edit the text. It just moves independently, which defeats the whole purpose. Anyone else having this issue or is it just something with my version?

    I had a similar issue with custom fonts not showing up correctly when prepping for print in CorelDraw. What helped me was embedding the fonts into the file before exporting to PDF. I found that sometimes just installing the fonts on your system isn’t enough; embedding ensures the printer reads them properly. Also, flattening some of the layers before export seemed to stabilize the output without messing up the artwork. Worth trying if you haven’t already!

    Just to add a bit of clarity on margins in InDesign: margins don’t actually affect the bleed area, which is set separately. Margins are more about the safe zone inside the page where you should keep important content. For bleed, you usually set it when creating the document or later in Document Setup, and it extends beyond the page edge to ensure that background colors or images print to the edge after trimming. This is especially crucial for print jobs where the printer will trim the paper.
