Raster images are made up of pixels, which means when you zoom in or enlarge them too much, they become blurry or pixelated. Vector designs, on the other hand, are created using mathematical paths, so they can be scaled infinitely without losing quality. This is why logos and illustrations are often created in vector format for flexibility, while photographs are usually raster images.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Maybe you need to prepare your data first in Excel or something before using the Print Merge feature in CorelDraw? I think it works like mail merge in Word, so your info like names and photos have to be in a spreadsheet. Then you link that file inside CorelDraw and it fills the cards automatically, but I’m not sure how to add pictures properly.

That article is a solid introduction, but one thing to note is that some NSE scripts require specific Nmap versions to work properly—usually the latest stable release. Using an outdated version might cause certain vulnerability scripts to fail or miss checks, so double-check your Nmap version before running extensive scans.

This sounds like it might be related to the transparency flattening settings during export. InDesign 2023 sometimes struggles with complex transparency effects on Windows 10, especially if the PDF compatibility is set too low. Try setting the PDF compatibility to Acrobat 7 (PDF 1.6) or higher in the export options; this often reduces crashes because it better supports live transparency. If that doesn’t help, updating your graphics drivers or resetting InDesign preferences may also solve the issue.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Tried using the Artistic Media Tool after watching your tutorial on Freehand and Pen tools. Applying the brush stroke worked well, but I noticed that when I tried to edit the stroke with the Shape tool, the nodes didn’t behave as expected—they were snapping weirdly. Anyone else faced this? Might be a setting I missed.

Just to add a quick note: while Find and Replace can be powerful for certain layout tweaks, it’s not a substitute for proper styles and templates when it comes to document layout. Relying too much on Find and Replace for formatting can get messy, especially if you’re working with large or complex documents. It helps to combine both approaches for the best results.

Tried tweaking the settings as suggested, and it helped reduce the error frequency, but it’s still popping up occasionally. Not sure if it’s a timing issue or something deeper with the version I’m running. Anyone else see this persist after the fix?

I think leading or inter line spacing in InDesign is kind of like adjusting the gap between the lines of text, right? Maybe you can just select the text and then find some option in the character panel that says “leading” or something like that? I’m not sure if it automatically sets it to “Auto” or if you have to put a number in manually. Hopefully this video clears it up!

Just to clarify, in CorelDraw, the Eyedropper tool not only picks the color but can also sample object properties like outline width and fill style depending on the settings. So, it’s useful to check those options in the property bar before using it if you want to copy more than just the solid color. The Fill Bucket tool works separately to apply the chosen color to your shape’s fill, so they complement each other but serve distinct functions.

Tried importing images in InDesign CC as shown, but every time I place a PNG file, it comes in super low-res and looks pixelated. Adjusting the size or cropping doesn’t fix the quality either. Anyone else dealing with this or is there a setting I missed?

@Rakesh Bhardwaj I think when you use the Shape tool after applying the Artistic Media tool, you might need to first break apart the stroke to edit individual segments. Maybe the problem is that the stroke is still grouped or part of a single object, so the Shape tool can’t modify it properly. Not sure if this is because of the version of CorelDraw, but I think breaking the object apart is a necessary step before detailed editing.

in reply to: How to use Picker Tool or Selection tool #27039

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Snipping Tool is great for quick captures, but if you want more flexibility, try using the newer Snip & Sketch app available in Windows 10 and later. It lets you capture the whole screen, a window, or a selected area and also offers easy annotation tools. To open it, press Windows + Shift + S, then choose the type of snip you want. This might be easier if you’re looking to capture specific parts of your desktop regularly.

@Vikram Sharma Upgrading to Windows 11 22H2 didn’t help my FPS issues at all—actually made things worse. Tried updating GPU drivers, tweaking power settings, and even disabling background apps, but the stutters kept happening in Apex Legends. Not sure if it’s something with the Ryzen CPU compatibility or a buggy update, but for me, nothing stable so far.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj For text formatting in Adobe InDesign CC 2019, understanding leading (interline spacing) is crucial—it controls the vertical space between lines of text. If your text looks too cramped or too spaced out, adjusting the leading value can improve readability. In the Character panel, you can set it manually or let InDesign auto-adjust based on font size. Watching tutorials in Hindi specific to CC 2019 is great since interface elements or shortcuts might differ slightly from newer versions.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj In CorelDraw, to move objects above or below each other, you generally use the Arrange menu and select “Order,” then choose options like “To Back,” “To Front,” “Forward One,” or “Backward One.” Also, don’t forget the shortcut keys like Ctrl+Page Up or Ctrl+Page Down which can speed up this process. Just dragging objects around won’t change their stacking order unless you specifically use these commands.

Tried following the part about creating columns for magazines, but the guides wouldn’t snap properly in my Indesign CC 2019. I kept moving the column guides but they just didn’t align as shown in the video. Not sure if it’s a version glitch or if I missed some snapping option somewhere. Anyone else facing this?

@Rakesh Bhardwaj The “allow document page to shuffle” option in InDesign controls whether pages automatically rearrange themselves into spreads or stay independent. If you uncheck that option, you can create custom page spreads by manually positioning pages next to each other, which is useful for unusual layouts. In CC 2019, this setting is found in the Pages panel menu, so keep an eye on that when working with facing pages to avoid unexpected rearrangements.

Tried following your tips on Print Merge in CorelDraw, but every time I try to import my Excel file, the data doesn’t link properly and the fields stay blank on the card layout. Not sure if it’s a version issue or if I missed a step, but I’ve been stuck here for hours and couldn’t get it to print correctly. Anyone else had this problem?

Tried using Snipping Tool to capture my desktop screen but it just won’t work properly on my Windows 11. Every time I try, the screen freezes or the tool crashes. Not sure if it’s a compatibility issue or a bug, but it’s really frustrating when you’re just trying to get a quick screenshot. Anyone else facing this?

GREP in InDesign’s Find/Change menu sounded super promising for automating text formatting, but honestly, I ended up more confused. I tried using some basic GREP expressions from tutorials, but it frequently missed matches or messed up styles instead of fixing them. I’m not sure if it’s an InDesign bug or just the way GREP is implemented; either way, it was way more frustrating than helpful for my workflow.
