I think “allow document page to shuffle” might control whether pages can be rearranged automatically when you add or remove pages. Maybe if it’s on, InDesign tries to keep pages in order like spreads, but if off, you can place pages side by side more freely? Not totally sure though, just guessing from how the name sounds.

@Vikram Sharma Maybe the snapping settings are off? I think CorelDraw has some kind of grid or guidelines you can turn on to help nodes snap exactly where you want. Also, maybe zooming in super close before moving nodes could help make those tiny adjustments more precise? Not sure if that’s the best way though.

Keep in mind that CorelDraw versions before X4 don’t have a built-in autobackup time adjustment like newer versions do. You might want to set up an external backup script or use Windows’ File History feature to handle autosaving for large files, especially over 500 MB. Relying solely on CorelDraw’s autosave could still risk losing progress with big files.

After updating to Windows 11 22H2, I also had Cyberpunk 2077 crash on launch. What helped me was running the game as administrator and disabling the fullscreen optimizations in the compatibility settings. It seems like some new Windows 11 graphics policies are conflicting with the game, so this workaround stabilized it for me. Worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet.

When exporting from Illustrator, make sure you’re using the “SVG 1.1” profile and have the “Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities” unchecked for better compatibility. Also, double-check that the “Background” is set to transparent in the export options; sometimes the preview might not show transparency correctly depending on the viewer you use. If you open the SVG in a browser and still see a white background, it might be the browser rendering, not the file itself.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Just a quick note: the macro works best with CorelDRAW versions 2017 and later, so if you’re using an older version, you might run into compatibility issues. Also, make sure your CSS or TXT files are properly formatted before importing; otherwise, the QR codes may not generate correctly. It’s not just about adding the macro to the manager—you need to enable macros in the security settings too.

Actually, the Rectangle, Polygon, and Spiral tools in CorelDRAW each have some specific properties you can adjust after drawing them. For example, with the Polygon tool, you can change the number of sides even after placing the shape by dragging the shape or entering values in the property bar. The Spiral tool also lets you control the number of turns and the tightness of the spiral. Make sure you explore these options in the property bar rather than just drawing the shapes blindly. 😕

@Rakesh Bhardwaj I think you might need to check if your Windows laptop has the right drivers for the Sagem Morpho 1300/1300e2 device. Sometimes Windows doesn’t automatically find the correct driver, so maybe try visiting the official Sagem Morpho website or the device manufacturer’s support page to download the latest driver. Also, make sure your laptop’s USB ports are working properly because the device might not get detected if there’s an issue there.

@Sanjay Sharma Tried exporting at 300 PPI using “Export As” on my Illustrator CC 2023 with Windows 11, and I noticed that sometimes the resolution setting doesn’t actually apply unless you pick “Use Artboards” first. Make sure that box is checked, then set 300 PPI, and it should export correctly. It worked for me after that tweak.

Upgrading to 22H2 didn’t fix anything for me—FPS drops got worse, actually. Tried all the usual stuff like updating drivers and tweaking in-game settings, but the stutter keeps popping up randomly. Feels like this Windows update messed with GPU scheduling or something under the hood. Not sure if it’s a game or OS bug, but it’s super frustrating.

Maybe the new Windows 11 update changed some settings that the game needs? I’d check if the graphics drivers are still compatible or need updating. Sometimes games crash if the display resolution or compatibility mode is off after an update like 22H2.

The article’s suggestion about using the “three-finger tap” for Look Up only works if you have that gesture enabled in your Trackpad settings, and it’s specific to certain macOS versions like Catalina and later. Also, some design apps might override or not recognize system-wide shortcuts, so it’s worth checking app preferences if a shortcut isn’t behaving as expected.

@Maya Singh Upgraded to that same build and had the same issue with the Start menu. Restarting didn’t help at all for me either. I tried resetting the Windows Explorer process and running a few PowerShell commands, but nothing fixed it, really frustrating. Still stuck with no Start menu.

@Anita Patel If you’re new to simulator games and want something easy to get into, maybe you should try flight simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator? I think the newer versions have beginner modes that guide you through basic controls. Not sure if that’s what you meant by “easy,” but it seems like a good place to start without getting overwhelmed.

@KernelKnight AI chatbots can definitely help with Adobe Illustrator issues, but just keep in mind they might not always catch version-specific quirks. For example, if you’re working with Illustrator 2024, some troubleshooting steps might differ from older versions. It’s a good idea to double-check their advice with Adobe’s official documentation or user forums to avoid any confusion.

शायद I? मैं पूरी तरह से पक्का नहीं हूं, लेकिन वीडियो देखकर समझने की कोशिश कर रहा हूँ।

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Just to clarify, when using the Shape tool to edit a path after breaking apart objects in CorelDraw, make sure you actually break the curve first if you’re working with curves. Sometimes people try to edit the individual segments without breaking them apart properly, which can cause confusion. Also, the Artistic Media tool doesn’t always work seamlessly with broken-apart shapes since it expects continuous paths for applying brush strokes. Keep that in mind while following tutorials.

Is this the Google Input Tools software you’re talking about? I think it works by converting what you speak into Hindi text, but maybe you also have to install some language pack or switch the keyboard layout manually? Also, does it require an internet connection to work, or can it type offline too? I’m not sure how the “type as you speak” feature really functions in practice.

I totally get where you’re coming from—managing complex layouts and getting print-ready PDFs can definitely eat up a lot of time. A while back, I was struggling with repetitive tasks like applying consistent styles and exporting multiple versions of PDFs for different clients. What really helped me was setting up some simple AppleScripts that automate exporting in different PDF presets directly from InDesign. It saved me from manually clicking through export dialogs multiple times a day.

On top of that, I’ve started using the built-in Preview app’s annotation and markup features to do quick proofing outside of InDesign before sending files off to print. It’s surprisingly handy for catching small typographic tweaks or image alignment issues without reopening the full project. Also, I’ve mapped a few custom macOS shortcuts using System Preferences for actions I use often but that InDesign doesn’t have keyboard shortcuts for, like switching between screen modes or opening specific panels. It’s those small tweaks that add up and make my workflow feel a lot smoother on the Mac side. Definitely worth experimenting with Automator or AppleScript if you have repetitive export or preflight checks in your routine!

Hi there, I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with file export and transfer issues, especially with complex Photoshop projects. From my experience and understanding, the type of USB port or adapter on your Mac generally should not affect Photoshop’s ability to export files correctly or maintain the integrity of layers and filters. Photoshop’s export process is handled internally by the software and the Mac’s file system before the data even reaches the external drive.

However, what can be influenced by the USB port or adapter is the speed and stability of the data transfer. For example, using a slower USB 2.0 port or a problematic adapter might cause transfer interruptions or corrupted files if the connection drops or transfers don’t complete properly. This would be more about the physical transfer process rather than Photoshop itself. To rule this out, try exporting the file to your Mac’s internal storage first and verify if the file works perfectly there. Then, connect the external drive via different ports or adapters and copy the saved file over separately to see if the corruption happens during transfer.

It’s also a good idea to check the quality and compatibility of your external drive and cables, as faulty hardware can cause data corruption. Additionally, ensure your Photoshop and macOS are up to date, as software bugs can occasionally cause saving issues. In summary, the export process inside Photoshop is unlikely to be impacted directly by port type, but the reliability of your external storage connection could influence file integrity after export. Hopefully that helps clarify things!

Hey, I’ve noticed a few folks suggesting purely graphic-based tweaks or solely relying on external editors like Illustrator for the gradient effects, but it’s important to remember the limitations of your game’s rendering engine and UI framework. Applying a gradient in Illustrator might make perfect visuals, but when you import that back into the game, it can lose quality or cause performance issues depending on how the game handles textures or alpha transparency.

One key point that wasn’t emphasized enough in previous replies is considering the use of layered sprites or dynamic shaders, if your modding tools allow it. Instead of a flat gradient baked into a texture, sometimes it’s better to create multiple layers—say, a solid base text, a gradient overlay with alpha blending, and maybe a subtle drop shadow. This can keep readability intact and avoid those weird artifacts people mentioned.

Also, remember to check if your mod framework supports vector-based text rendering or if it only works with raster images. In some cases, redoing the gradient effect inside the game’s UI scripting (like using CSS-like styles in web-based HUDs or game engines supporting shaders) produces better results than just image editing.

Lastly, image compression formats and resolution matter here. Low-res textures with gradients can band or look blurry, so try working with higher-res assets and experiment with compression settings. Hope this helps clarify some of the earlier points and gives you a smoother workflow!

I’ve dealt with similar issues working with large PSD files, and based on your setup and troubleshooting so far, a few areas might be worth exploring further.

First, double-check your scratch disk configuration in Photoshop’s Preferences. If your scratch disk is near capacity or located on a slower HDD rather than an SSD, it can severely impact performance and stability with massive files. Try assigning a fast SSD with plenty of free space as the primary scratch disk and clear old cache files if possible.

Next, revisit your memory usage settings within Photoshop (under Performance). By default, Photoshop may not be using as much RAM as it can safely handle. Since you have 16GB, you could increase Photoshop’s RAM allocation to around 70-75%, but leave enough for Windows to run smoothly. This often improves stability when handling big projects.

Also, consider resetting Photoshop’s preferences by holding Alt+Ctrl+Shift (Windows) while launching Photoshop. Sometimes corrupt preferences cause erratic crashing. If that doesn’t help, try disabling any third-party plugins or extensions temporarily to rule those out.

Lastly, monitor your system’s overall resources while opening these files using Task Manager. If you notice spikes in CPU or disk usage or any process consuming excessive amounts of memory, that could help isolate the cause. And yes, upgrading RAM is always helpful for large files, but the other optimizations above often make a significant difference before investing more hardware. Hope some of this helps!

Hey, I was having almost the same problem with large PSDs crashing on me. I tried turning off GPU acceleration like you mentioned, and it helped a little, but Photoshop still crashes occasionally when files get really big. Did you check your scratch disk settings? I read somewhere that if your scratch disk is almost full or on a slow drive, it can cause crashes with heavy files.

Also, when you reduced cache levels, did you try experimenting with increasing RAM allocation for Photoshop too? On my system, bumping it up from the default helped a bit, though it didn’t completely fix the crashes. I’m still running Windows 10 and my RAM is only 12GB, so I’m wondering if your 16GB might actually be borderline for some of these huge files.

Have you tested opening those same large PSDs on a different machine, just to rule out any hardware-specific issues? Sometimes it’s something subtle like a background process eating up resources. Also, what version of Photoshop exactly 2023 is it? Adobe pushes all sorts of patches, so maybe a newer update could help.

Would be great to hear if you find something that fully stops the crashes, because I’m considering upgrading my setup as well. Keep us posted!
