ParticipantMaybe the new Android 11 update changed some background settings? Like, perhaps some apps are running more in the background and draining the battery faster. It might help to check if any apps have new permissions or are using location a lot now. Not sure though!
3rd December 2025 at 3:03 pm in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 28 in Hindi : Anchoring Background Behind a Paragraph text – Unique tip no-one knows #27402Priya Rao
Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj Tried this method in InDesign CC 2023, and it mostly works well for simple layouts. The only hiccup I ran into was when resizing the text frame—the background shape doesn’t always scale perfectly with the text, so you might need to adjust manually. Still, it’s a solid workaround compared to locking separate frames.
3rd December 2025 at 6:17 am in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 34 in Hindi : Introduction to GREP in Find and Change Menu – Hindi Video #27383Priya Rao
ParticipantGREP in InDesign is basically a way to use regular expressions within the Find/Change dialog to search for patterns instead of fixed text. I tried using GREP to find all phone numbers in my document by searching for d{3}-d{3}-d{4}, and it worked pretty well to highlight all the instances quickly. It’s super useful for automating repetitive text formatting that would take forever manually.
2nd December 2025 at 7:53 pm in reply to: How can I speed up layer mask editing in Photoshop? #27329Priya Rao
Participant@Rohan Patel Switching between brush and selection is normal but could be sped up by using the Refine Edge tool or Select and Mask workspace, especially in Photoshop. If you’re still on an older version, note that the Select and Mask interface offers better edge detection and smoothing for hair and foliage, which can reduce tedious manual work. Just be careful with aggressive smoothing or feathering as it might soften your mask edges too much. 🙂
1st December 2025 at 2:28 am in reply to: Complete tip Align and Distribute Command : Learn CorelDarw in Hindi #27275Priya Rao
ParticipantTried using the Align and Distribute command exactly as shown, but in my CorelDRAW version, the objects just won’t align properly. It seems like the tutorial assumes an older or different version where the options appear in a different menu. Also, distributing objects doesn’t keep equal spacing for me, which is frustrating. Anyone else facing this?
30th November 2025 at 9:34 pm in reply to: Can vulnerability scanning improve my home gaming network security? #27268Priya Rao
ParticipantTried following that guide exactly, but the NSE scripts kept failing to run on my system. I’m on Nmap 7.80, and it looks like some of the newer scripts require at least version 7.91 or higher. The guide didn’t mention version compatibility, so it ended up being a waste of time for me. Hopefully updating helps.

ParticipantMaybe Android 13 changed some background settings that use more power? I think I read somewhere that new versions can reset app permissions or change how often apps update in the background. Could try checking if some apps are running too much or if location services are always on after the update. Not sure if that helps though!
29th November 2025 at 4:04 am in reply to: Text along a Path in CorelDraw: Video tutorial in Hindi #27157Priya Rao
Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj Just a small clarification: in CorelDraw, Paragraph Text and Artistic Text behave quite differently. Paragraph Text is more suited for longer blocks of text and allows for better text flow and formatting inside a defined area, while Artistic Text is usually for short lines, titles, or decorative use. For Text along a path, you can convert both types, but it’s often easier to start with Artistic Text for smoother control along curves. The tutorial focusing on Hindi is great since font handling can differ, especially with complex scripts.
27th November 2025 at 8:41 am in reply to: Complete tip Align and Distribute Command : Learn CorelDarw in Hindi #27011Priya Rao
ParticipantWhen using the Align and Distribute commands in CorelDRAW, make sure all the objects you want to align are selected first. In some versions, the alignment options can behave differently depending on whether you choose to align relative to the page, a key object, or the selection bounds. If your cube isn’t aligning as expected, try setting the alignment relative to a key object to keep one part fixed while adjusting the rest around it. This makes positioning multiple components of a shape much easier.
27th November 2025 at 12:34 am in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 35 in Hindi : How to format Paragraph Styles for Email Formatting using GREP – Hindi Video #26987Priya Rao
ParticipantI think you might need to create a character style first before applying the GREP style, right? So maybe in the paragraph style settings, there’s a GREP styles section where you can input something like b[A-Z0-9._%+-]+@[A-Z0-9.-]+.[A-Z]{2,}b, but I’m not totally sure if it’s case-sensitive or how to toggle that. Also, does this work the same in all versions of InDesign CC? I’m using an older one and some options seem different.

26th November 2025 at 3:43 am in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 6 in Hindi : How to use Text Formatting, Leading, Baseline Text Shift, Left – Right Indents #26892Priya Rao
Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj Tried following the part about leading or interline spacing exactly as shown, but the spacing just wouldn’t adjust properly in my version of InDesign CC 2019. It ended up being really inconsistent between paragraphs, and the settings reset themselves when I reopened the file. Anyone else have this issue?
25th November 2025 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Indesign CC 2019 Tip no 16 in Hindi : Working with Tables, Rows and Columns #26873Priya Rao
ParticipantAdobe InDesign CC 2019 handles tables similarly to other versions, so tutorials in Hindi for that version should still be very relevant. When creating tables, remember you can insert them directly by choosing “Table > Insert Table,” then specify rows and columns. Adjusting rows and columns is as simple as dragging the borders or using the Table panel to fine-tune dimensions and styles—this part is crucial for clean layouts. If you want to learn faster, practicing alongside the video will help solidify those concepts.
23rd November 2025 at 6:27 am in reply to: Subject: Best Practices for Exporting Adobe InDesign Layouts to PDF for Print — Any Tips Beyond CorelDraw? #26642Priya Rao
ParticipantHey, I made a similar switch a while back, moving from CorelDraw to InDesign for print projects. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the export settings in InDesign, but what really helped was getting comfortable with the “Adobe PDF Preset” options. I usually go with the “Press Quality” preset, then double-check the bleed settings—it’s crucial to match the printer’s requirements exactly. Also, I always make sure to embed all fonts, and in my experience, outlining fonts isn’t necessary if you embed correctly.
One thing I learned the hard way was about color profiles. CorelDraw had me used to CMYK conversion inside the app, but InDesign handles color profiles differently. I set my document color space to CMYK and assign the correct ICC profile matching my printer’s specs. That way, colors stay consistent and rich.
For typography, InDesign’s advanced features are a lifesaver—especially using paragraph and character styles to keep things consistent. When exporting PDFs, I’ve found that avoiding transparency flattening issues by selecting “High Quality Print” or “Press Quality” presets helps maintain sharpness and layout fidelity.
In the end, I also like to run the exported PDF through Acrobat’s Preflight tool to catch any potential print issues before sending files out. Hope that helps!
23rd November 2025 at 5:26 am in reply to: Title: Problems with Fonts and Export Quality in CorelDraw Prints #26640Priya Rao
ParticipantHi, I understand how frustrating these issues can be, especially when you’ve already taken steps like embedding fonts and converting text to curves. Regarding font problems, one thing to double-check is whether the print shop’s RIP (Raster Image Processor) supports the fonts you’re using, even if they’re embedded. Sometimes, font licensing restrictions or corrupted font files can cause substitution. Converting text to curves is usually the safest bet for eliminating font replacement, but make sure this conversion is done before exporting the PDF, not afterward. Also, when exporting, choose PDF/X standards if possible, as they’re designed for reliable print workflows and can help preserve fonts and colors more consistently.
As for the blurry or color-shifted exports, gradients and transparencies can be tricky because they rely on complex rendering that might not translate perfectly across different software or printers. Try increasing the export resolution beyond standard 300 dpi if you have very detailed gradients. You might also want to avoid transparency where possible by flattening or simplifying those elements before export. Checking the color profile settings is another key step—make sure you’re exporting with the correct CMYK profile expected by the print shop rather than RGB, since mismatches can cause unexpected color shifts.
A recommended workflow would be to finalize your design by converting all text to curves, flatten transparencies, and then export using a high-resolution PDF/X format with the proper color profile. Before sending to print, view the PDF on multiple devices or viewers to spot any issues early. Communicating with your print provider about their preferred file specifications can also save a lot of trouble. Hopefully, this helps smooth out your printing process!
23rd November 2025 at 3:26 am in reply to: Subject: Issues Exporting Photoshop Files via Mac USB Ports – Could It Be Related? #26636Priya Rao
ParticipantHi there,
It’s understandable to look at the USB port type or adapter as a possible cause of your Photoshop export issues, especially when transferring files to an external drive. However, the port or adapter itself generally doesn’t affect Photoshop’s ability to export or maintain file integrity. Exporting layered files with filters is handled entirely by Photoshop on your Mac before the file is saved to disk. Once the file is written, transferring it via any USB or Thunderbolt port should just be a simple data copy process.
That said, the type of port can impact the transfer speed and reliability of the connection. For example, older USB ports or faulty adapters might cause intermittent disconnections or data corruption during the file transfer, which could make your files appear corrupted when opened on another device. So, it’s worth checking that both your external drive and connection cables are in good condition and are using ports with sufficient bandwidth like USB-C or Thunderbolt to ensure stable transfers.
If the problem happens consistently at the export stage before transfer, it’s more likely related to Photoshop itself or disk permissions on your Mac rather than the USB port. Try exporting to your internal drive first and verify the file opens correctly there. If that works fine, then the issue is probably with the external drive or connection during transfer. Also, make sure your Photoshop and macOS are up to date, and consider resetting Photoshop preferences if export issues persist.
Hope this helps clarify things!
