    @Rohan Patel Maybe the slowdowns happen because of some background updates or antivirus scans? I think Windows sometimes runs maintenance stuff automatically, which can make things lag for a bit. You might want to check if anything is running in the background that’s using a lot of CPU or RAM.

    Just a note: Find and Replace is great for simple text changes, but using it for complex document layouts can sometimes cause unintended formatting issues. It’s often safer to use styles and templates for layout changes rather than relying solely on Find and Replace commands.

    Tried following the steps to create a numbered list in InDesign CC 2019, but the numbering just resets on every new text box instead of continuing. Not sure if it’s a setting issue or a version bug. Anyone else faced this? Really frustrating when the tutorial makes it look so simple.

    For creating tables in InDesign CC 2019, you start by drawing a text frame and then go to Table > Insert Table to define the number of rows and columns. To adjust rows and columns, you can click inside the table and drag the cell borders or use the Table Options for precise control. If you’re working in Hindi, make sure your paragraph and character styles support the script for proper rendering inside table cells.

    @Rakesh Bhardwaj Actually, CorelDRAW doesn’t provide a direct option to increase the number of recently used fonts in the dropdown list. The font list generally shows the most recently applied fonts automatically, but its length is fixed by the software. If you want quicker access, a workaround is to create a font list or use the font manager to organize your favorite fonts for easier selection.

    @Kiran Singh That guide is great for setting up Kali Linux on a PC using VirtualBox, but for Android, the process is quite different since VirtualBox isn’t available on mobile OS. You might want to look into apps like UserLAnd or Termux, which let you run Linux environments directly on your phone without needing a VM. Those tools won’t give you a full Kali desktop experience, but you can install many Kali tools within them for penetration testing on the go.

    Maybe the problem is your mouse sensitivity isn’t actually the main issue. I think some people recommend lowering the sensitivity a lot and then moving your whole arm instead of just your wrist. Also, do you have mouse acceleration turned on? That can make aiming feel weird because the cursor moves differently depending on how fast you move the mouse. It might be worth checking your game settings and your Windows mouse settings for that.

    @Rakesh Bhardwaj I adjusted the bleed settings in my InDesign document by going to File > New > Document and then expanding the “More Settings” section to enter specific bleed values. This definitely helped avoid unwanted white edges after trimming when I sent the file to print. Just make sure the bleed matches what your printer recommends—different print shops sometimes have slightly different requirements.

    Those resource-intensive features can definitely slow down your workflow if your system isn’t up to date. To optimize performance, make sure you’re using the latest version of your video editing software and have plenty of free RAM available. Also, some new YouTube features like higher-res previews or AI-generated captions might require faster internet speeds, so a wired connection can help reduce lag. If your hardware is older, consider batch processing tasks or using lower-res proxies for editing before final export.

    Bleed settings in CorelDraw are crucial for print designs where you want your artwork to extend beyond the trim edge, preventing white borders after cutting. Usually, you set the bleed to around 3-5mm depending on your print house requirements. Regarding adding automatic crop marks with a macro, make sure the macro accounts for this bleed area, or else your crop marks might be misplaced relative to the artwork edges. If your macro isn’t behaving as expected, check if it’s set to include the bleed or just the page size.

    Tried following the Shape tool editing steps after using the Artistic Media tool, but when I hit break apart, the objects don’t separate as expected in my CorelDraw 2021 version. It just seems to group everything instead of breaking it apart. Anyone else faced this? Not sure if it’s a version issue or I’m missing something in the workflow.

    @Rakesh Bhardwaj Tried using the Colour Picker Tool in CorelDraw following the video instructions, and it worked well for picking exact fill colors from images. However, I noticed that in some versions, you might need to make sure the tool options are set to “Fill” rather than “Outline,” or else it picks the wrong attribute. That was the only hiccup I ran into.

    in reply to: How to Change Default Object and Text Properties in CorelDraw #26861

    Actually, in CorelDraw, changing the default object and text properties isn’t done through just a simple settings menu. You need to set up a default style by creating an object with the desired attributes and then using the “Set as Default” option from the property bar while no object is selected. This approach works slightly differently depending on the version, so make sure to check if your CorelDraw version supports this workflow.

    Just to clarify, GREP in InDesign’s Find/Change menu isn’t a separate tool but a pattern matching language integrated into the search function. It’s used to find text patterns like phone numbers or repeating characters, making complex text editing much faster. Also, there isn’t a single official “complete list” of all InDesign CC tutorials since Adobe and many creators constantly add new ones, so it’s better to rely on specific sites or channels updated regularly.

    @KernelKnight I had the same problem with large PSDs crashing in Photoshop. What helped me was increasing the RAM allocation in the Preferences under Performance. I bumped it up from the default 70% to 85%, and since then, it’s been handling big files much better without crashing. Might be worth trying if you haven’t adjusted that setting yet.

    @soobedar ram Without any specific details, it’s hard to give precise advice. If you’re dealing with a technical issue, try to provide the error message, software version, or what you’ve already attempted. That way, it’s easier to pinpoint the problem and suggest a fix.

    I had a somewhat similar experience a while back with FPS drops and controller issues on a Ryzen setup. For me, the FPS drops ended up being related to Windows power settings and CPU throttling. I switched my power plan to “High Performance” instead of Balanced or Power Saver, and made sure Ryzen’s chipset drivers were fully up to date. That alone helped stabilize my framerates quite a bit in games like Apex and Witcher 3.

    As for the Xbox controller lag, I noticed Bluetooth can be pretty finicky with some builds. What helped me was using the official Xbox Wireless Adapter instead of Bluetooth, which pretty much eliminated input lag and disconnects. If that’s not an option, I’d recommend turning off any other Bluetooth devices nearby and making sure no USB 3.0 ports are too close to the Bluetooth antenna, as it can cause interference.

    Regarding game installs stalling, I had an issue once where Steam’s download cache got corrupted. Clearing the download cache from Steam’s settings fixed the problem for me. Also, running Steam or Epic Games Launcher as administrator can sometimes prevent weird installer hangs. Hope some of this helps without the need to reinstall your whole system!
