Lately, I’ve noticed that my Android device keeps dropping Wi-Fi connections every few minutes, and it’s getting really frustrating. This has happened on both my home and work networks, so I’m pretty sure it’s something on the phone side, not the router. I’ve already tried toggling airplane mode, restarting the phone, and even forgetting and reconnecting to the network, but the problem persists.
I’m running Android 12 on a Samsung Galaxy S21, and the issue started after a recent system update. Could this be a bug, or is there some Wi-Fi setting I’m missing? I read about some power saving options that might interfere with Wi-Fi stability, but I’m not sure which ones to check or change. Also, is there a way to get more detailed logs or diagnostics on Android to pinpoint the exact cause?
Any suggestions or similar experiences would be appreciated. It’s really disruptive especially when I’m trying to do video calls or stream music. Thanks!
