I’ve noticed ever since I installed the recent Android system update on my Pixel 5, the battery life has taken a significant hit. Normally, I would get through the day comfortably with moderate use, but now it barely lasts half a day. I checked the battery stats, and it seems like the screen and some background apps are consuming way more power than before.
I tried restarting the phone and even clearing cache from recovery mode, but the problem persists. Could it be that some apps aren’t optimized for the new Android version yet? Or is there a way to identify which processes are causing the battery drain more precisely? Any tips on how to improve battery life without rolling back the update would be appreciated because factory resetting seems like overkill right now.
Thanks in advance for any advice from fellow Android users who might have faced the same issue!
