@Rakesh Bhardwaj Just to clarify, when using the Shape tool to edit a path after breaking apart objects in CorelDraw, make sure you actually break the curve first if you’re working with curves. Sometimes people try to edit the individual segments without breaking them apart properly, which can cause confusion. Also, the Artistic Media tool doesn’t always work seamlessly with broken-apart shapes since it expects continuous paths for applying brush strokes. Keep that in mind while following tutorials.

Tried following the Shape tool editing steps after using the Artistic Media tool, but when I hit break apart, the objects don’t separate as expected in my CorelDraw 2021 version. It just seems to group everything instead of breaking it apart. Anyone else faced this? Not sure if it’s a version issue or I’m missing something in the workflow.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj I think when you use the Shape tool after applying the Artistic Media tool, you might need to first break apart the stroke to edit individual segments. Maybe the problem is that the stroke is still grouped or part of a single object, so the Shape tool can’t modify it properly. Not sure if this is because of the version of CorelDraw, but I think breaking the object apart is a necessary step before detailed editing.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Tried using the Shape tool to edit after breaking apart as shown in the video, but the nodes didn’t behave as expected on my version of CorelDraw 2021. Maybe some steps have changed slightly in newer versions. Still, breaking apart first definitely helps isolate parts before tweaking them individually.
