Hi everyone, I’ve recently upgraded to Windows 11 22H2 and started noticing intermittent FPS drops while playing Apex Legends Season 16. My setup is a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 Ti. The game runs smoothly most of the time, around 144fps, but suddenly dips down to 40-50fps for a few seconds before jumping back up. This happens especially during team fights or when there are many player models on screen.

I’ve already updated my GPU drivers to the latest version from NVIDIA’s site and made sure Windows is fully updated. I disabled background apps and set the game to high performance in the graphics settings, but no luck so far. The game’s V-Sync is off, and I tried both fullscreen and borderless modes with no improvement. Does anyone know if this is a common problem with the current patch or if there might be specific settings messing up performance on Windows 11? Any suggestions on logs or diagnostic tools to run would be appreciated.

@Vikram Sharma Upgrading to Windows 11 22H2 didn’t help my FPS issues at all—actually made things worse. Tried updating GPU drivers, tweaking power settings, and even disabling background apps, but the stutters kept happening in Apex Legends. Not sure if it’s something with the Ryzen CPU compatibility or a buggy update, but for me, nothing stable so far.

Upgrading to 22H2 didn’t fix anything for me—FPS drops got worse, actually. Tried all the usual stuff like updating drivers and tweaking in-game settings, but the stutter keeps popping up randomly. Feels like this Windows update messed with GPU scheduling or something under the hood. Not sure if it’s a game or OS bug, but it’s super frustrating.
