ParticipantJust a quick note: Adobe InDesign CC 2019 does support paragraph styles, but if you’re using a newer version or Creative Cloud updates, some interface elements or features might look slightly different compared to 2019. So if you watch newer tutorials, some steps could vary a bit. But overall, the concept of creating and applying paragraph styles from text selections remains pretty consistent.

ParticipantTried creating a paragraph style from a text selection in InDesign CC 2019 like the video showed, and it worked smoothly for me. Just make sure you highlight the entire paragraph before creating the style, otherwise it won’t capture all the formatting. Also, saving your styles in the right document library helps reuse them easily across projects.

Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj I think to create a paragraph style from a text selection, you first have to select the text and then look for the paragraph styles panel in InDesign CC 2019. Maybe there’s an option like “create new style” or “save style” that saves the formatting. Not sure if you have to name the style right away or if it gets saved automatically.

ParticipantTried following the steps to create a paragraph style from a text selection in InDesign CC 2019, but it just doesn’t save the style properly. Every time I close and reopen the document, the style disappears or resets. Not sure if it’s a bug in that version or if I’m missing some setting. Anyone else faced this?
