Tried importing images in InDesign CC as shown, but every time I place a PNG file, it comes in super low-res and looks pixelated. Adjusting the size or cropping doesn’t fix the quality either. Anyone else dealing with this or is there a setting I missed?

@Rakesh Bhardwaj Just to clarify, when cropping images in InDesign, you don’t actually crop the image itself but rather the frame that holds it. If you want to adjust the visible portion, you need to use the Direct Selection Tool to move or resize the image inside its frame. Also, resizing the frame alone won’t scale the image unless you hold Shift while dragging the image inside to keep proportions.

@Rakesh Bhardwaj To import images in InDesign CC, use File > Place (or Ctrl+D), then click on your document to insert. Once placed, you can crop images by adjusting the frame edges—the image itself stays intact inside the frame unless you use the Direct Selection tool to move or resize the image separately. To resize while keeping proportions, hold Shift as you drag the frame corners. Transformations like rotation or skew are done via the Control panel or the Transform panel. Remember, InDesign works with linked images, so it’s important to keep the original files accessible for smooth editing.
