Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj When creating paragraph styles in InDesign CC 2019, it’s important to plan how many styles you actually need based on your document structure. Don’t create too many similar styles; instead, use nested styles or character styles for variations like bold or italic inside a paragraph style. This keeps your workflow efficient and your document easier to update. Also, double-check that you’re applying styles consistently to avoid formatting headaches later.

Participant@Rakesh Bhardwaj When creating paragraph styles in InDesign CC 2019, it’s important to set a base style first that covers your main text formatting, then create additional styles based on that for headings, subheadings, quotes, etc. This way, if you need to update font or spacing later, you can change it in the base style and have those changes cascade to dependent styles. Also, keep the number of paragraph styles manageable—too many can become confusing when working on a large document.

ParticipantJust a quick note: Adobe InDesign CC 2019 and later versions handle paragraph styles the same way, but some newer features might not be available in 2019. When creating paragraph styles, it’s important to base them on your document’s design requirements rather than guessing how many you need—start with a few essential ones and expand as your project demands. Also, be careful with the spelling of “style” in tutorials; small typos like “styel” can confuse beginners.

ParticipantJust a quick note: Adobe InDesign CC 2019 is definitely a solid version to learn, but some interface elements or features related to paragraph styles might look a bit different if you’re watching videos made for newer versions like CC 2020 or later. So if anything looks off in the tutorial, that could be why. Otherwise, creating paragraph styles is pretty straightforward—you just have to define your text attributes once and apply them consistently.
