Hey everyone, I’ve noticed that my Windows 10 PC takes forever to boot up these days. It feels like it hangs on the loading screen for a good 2 minutes before I can even log in. I don’t want to clutter my system with third-party apps or cleaners because I’ve heard some can do more harm than good.

Is there a straightforward way to speed up the startup process using Windows built-in features? For example, can I manage startup programs or tweak system settings safely without causing issues? Also, are there any common pitfalls to avoid when disabling startup items? I’d appreciate some step-by-step advice or tips that are proven to work. Thanks!

The slow boot on Windows 10 could be caused by too many startup programs running in the background. Try opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the Startup tab, and disable unnecessary programs. Also, running a disk cleanup or checking for driver updates might help speed things up. If the problem persists, it might be worth running “sfc /scannow” in an elevated Command Prompt to fix possible system file corruption.
