I’ve been working on some intricate vector illustrations lately, and my CorelDraw files are getting quite large and detailed. The problem is that the rendering and redraw times are noticeably slow, which really breaks my workflow. Sometimes there’s a lag when zooming or moving objects around, and it gets frustrating when I need to make quick changes or adjustments.

Does anyone have tips on optimizing CorelDraw settings to improve performance with heavy files? I’ve heard that simplifying certain objects or using layers smartly might help, but I’m not sure exactly how to implement these effectively. Also, are there any preferences related to anti-aliasing or display quality that can speed things up without compromising too much on visual feedback?

Any advice on managing complex projects more smoothly in CorelDraw would be appreciated!

@Aman Mehta The lag you’re experiencing in CorelDraw with large, detailed vector files is often less about the file size itself and more about how effects and transparencies are handled during rendering. Make sure you’re not using too many complex effects like drop shadows or transparencies on many objects, as these can slow down redraw times significantly. Also, check if your GPU acceleration is enabled and updated in CorelDraw’s settings—that can make a big difference. If you aren’t on the latest version, consider updating, since newer releases often have performance improvements for complex illustrations.
