I recently updated my phone to the newest Android version released last week, and since then, several apps have started crashing unexpectedly. It’s really frustrating because apps that were running smoothly before now freeze or close immediately after opening. I’ve tried clearing the app cache and even reinstalling a few of the problematic apps, but the crashes keep happening.

Has anyone else experienced this after updating their device? I’m wondering if it’s a known bug with this update or if there’s something specific on my phone causing the issues. I’m running a Pixel 5, and I checked for any additional patches or minor updates, but nothing new seems to be available. Hopefully, there’s a straightforward fix without having to factory reset the whole phone. Any advice would be appreciated!

It’s worth double-checking if all your apps have been updated to their latest versions after the Android update. Sometimes, app crashes happen because the developers haven’t yet optimized their apps for the new OS version. If the apps are up to date and still crashing, clearing the cache or reinstalling the problematic apps might help.
