I’ve been trying to get more out of Illustrator’s Appearance panel but feel like I’m barely scratching the surface. I know it can be used to stack multiple fills, strokes, and effects on a single object, but managing those layers sometimes gets confusing, especially when I want to edit specific parts without affecting others. Also, it’s tricky to understand how the order of effects influences the final look.

Are there any best practices for organizing and naming appearance attributes so that the workflow stays manageable? Additionally, how should I approach using effects like Drop Shadow or Gaussian Blur within the Appearance panel to maintain flexibility for future edits? Any tips for combining appearances with graphic styles effectively would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks!
