I’m working on a series of documents that all need to share the same set of paragraph styles, but I’ve found it pretty frustrating to keep them consistent. Every time I make a change to a style in one file, I have to manually update the others, which is time-consuming and error-prone. Is there an easy way in InDesign to synchronize paragraph styles across multiple documents without having to open each file and update styles individually?
I’ve heard about using book files (.indb) for managing linked documents, but I’m not entirely sure how to leverage that feature specifically for updating paragraph styles. Also, if there’s a way to import or load styles from a master document or template that makes this process more streamlined, that would be great to know. Any tips on best practices for maintaining style consistency in large projects would be very helpful!
