The autosave still freezes the program for several seconds every time it triggers, making it almost unusable. Maybe it’s just too old a version to handle large files smoothly.

I think in older CorelDraw versions, like before X4, the autobackup interval might be fixed or very limited, so maybe you need to manually change some registry setting or config file to extend the backup time? I couldn’t find any option inside the program itself in those versions. Could it be related to the autosave frequency in the backup preferences?
