Hey fellow gamers and designers! If you’re working on game art or packaging and want to ensure your print designs are perfectly aligned, creating accurate crop marks is essential. I recently came across a helpful article that explains how to create cutting crop marks in CorelDraw X7 using a macro, which can save you a lot of time and effort. The tutorial is in Hindi but it’s straightforward and easy to follow, even if you’re not fluent in the language.

Using crop marks correctly can help with trimming printed game materials like cards, covers, or posters to exact dimensions, avoiding any unwanted edges or misalignment. The macro method described in the article automates the process, so you don’t have to manually draw each mark yourself. If you’re designing game-related printables and want clean, professional results, I highly recommend checking out this guide. Has anyone tried using macros in CorelDraw for their gaming projects? Would love to hear your experiences or any additional tips!

Tried adding the crop marks exactly as described in that article while exporting my design from Illustrator, and it really helped with alignment during printing. Just a heads-up: make sure you check your bleed settings too, otherwise the crop marks might look off or cut into your design. Worked well for me on version 2023.
